Can You Use Netspend Prepaid Debit Card on Apple Pay Wallet?
In this article I'll be discussing the Netspend Prepaid Debit Card, and whether or not it can be added to Apple Pay Wallet.
Netspend is a popular prepaid debit card that you can buy at many different retailers like CVS or Walmart. Then you load funds onto it, and you can use it usually anywhere that Debit Visa is accepted. Apple Wallet Pay is an app on iPhones where you can store several different cards and credit cards, and then at stores you can actually pay using just your phone rather than the physical, plastic card. Below I'll be taking you through the process of adding the Netspend Prepaid Debit Visa Card to Apple Pay Wallet, to see if it is possible.
1) Open the Apple Pay Wallet app and click on the plus sign on the top right corner.

1) Open the Apple Pay Wallet app and click on the plus sign on the top right corner.
2) Click on Credit or Debit Card.
3) Next, enter the card number. Here will have the option to add the card by scanning it, or entering the information manually.
- If you choose to enter manually, you will need to enter the 16 digit card number, expiration date, and security code. Click Next on the top right corner.
When you do this, a pop up menu comes up with a message saying that your issuer does not yet offer support for this card. So, the Netspend Prepaid Debit Card cannot be added and used as a payment method on Apple Pay Wallet.
