VENMO MONEY TRANSFER
Let's talk a little bit about what this Venmo is:
VENMO PARENT COMPANY:

You may have heard about this company through many of their pop culture references online through social media avenues like Facebook, Instagram, or even pop music. While most people may consider this a standalone company, it is actually an arm of the large banking application Paypal.
While Paypal is really entrenched into online commerce as the "Go to" payment method, Venmo would likely be considered their younger, hipper, sibling. Paypal initially released Venmo in 2009 so it is really one of the pioneers in peer to peer payment apps.

Is Venmo Life Changing?:
So my assessment of Venmo - is it a life changing application? I would say no, since most peer to peer cash transfer apps are not life changing. This is a great app to use if you send and receive money often. It is partially anonymous, and the user does not see your private information like banking and social security. They will generally only know your username and name if you allow.
One thing I will note, is you may want to check your privacy settings, so the transactions you do initiate or receive are not amplified to the public. That is, unless you prefer that complete strangers know you paid someone for ice cream, pizza, or some other type of tasty treat.
